Unlike most other privacy protection tools which only delete the files, Evidence destroyer gives you the ability to delete files using not only common methods such as Gutmann and NISPOM (DoD), but overwrites files up to 16 times rendering them completely irretrievable to give you all the security and/or performance you may need. It's simple to delete files in a secure and convenient fashion. In addition to cleaning up the browser's cache, cookies, history, visited web sites, recent document list, emails, newsgroups and more, Evidence destroyer can also wipe free space, DRAM and much more! erasing all information on your hard disk that you thought was not there! Evidence destroyer can be set to erase ALL internet tracks automatically each time you close your browser or manually. Another feature is "Disk clean". This process overwrites any files that were deleted the insecure way ensuring that nothing can be retrieved from your hard drive.
