MailBell is a utility that checks email on POP3, POP3-SSL, IMAP, IMAP-SSL, MAPI and Gmail-Email accounts. It can notify you of new mail, can detect spam messages and lets you delete mail with large attachments without the need to download it.

MailBell is a mail and anti-spam utility that assists you with your email accounts. The program periodically checks one or multiple email accounts (POP3, IMAP, POP3/IMAP-SSL, MAPI, Gmail) and notifies you when new mail arrives by playing a sound or showing a notification window. It also allows you to preview and even delete mail without actually downloading it into your email program.
Additionally MailBell offers functions to preview mail and to manually or to automatically delete spam, based on a list of kill-words or senders. This allows blocking of unwanted mail and deletion of mail with large attachments without actually downloading these mails into your mail program.
