Melon is a a simple yet powerful notes-taking/task-making utility for Windows that resides in your system tray while not in use. Melon is ideal for heads-down computer users who want their information accessible and searchable -- be it websites, research notes or whatever -- without having to fumble through their computer looking for it. Melon also monitors your tasks and gently reminds you of upcoming deadlines to keep you on schedule
Wtih Melon, you can quickly and easily jot down a piece of information or create a task and and store them for later use. You can print your notes, save them to an external file or send them via e-mail (an external e-mail application configured for use with an existing account is required).
Melon allows users to capture information from their web browsing sessions, hyperlinks to the associated website or directions to their favorite restaurant (as well as suggested menu items), to name but a few uses, all w/o having to remember where the item was stored! In addition to storing your information, Melon enables you to create task reminders and be reminded when the deadline is approaching. You can configure Melon to remind you with a unobtrusive message as well as via an audible alarm.
Melon stores what's in your head, so you can focus on getting on with your life.
