This program is to make deleted files and folders unrecoverable. Its made as Wizard program and will be friendly for any computer newbie. "Prevent Recovery" will overwrite all free space on your hard disks that can contain fragments of deleted files with random data to avoid any possibility of recovery. It uses several security algorithms (you can replace deleted data with random characters, digits, spaces e.t.c.). While writing "Prevent Recovery" fills out information to the end of each cluster, leaving no chance to restore even just one word! No deleted files, pics, videos or other data can be recovered. Multiple languages supported for interface. This tool can also wipe Windows paging file (virtual memory cache) for top privacy.
Features
Wipes free disk space with random data - so any deleted file and word inside it will be replaced with digits, spaces or anything else, as you wish. Replacement made as a direct writing to the hard disk, so no byte can escape.
Prevents recovery of already deleted files - when replaced with other data no file can be recovered. And even if you'll look at content of the hard disk there is will be only bogus (random) data. NO partial recovery!
Clears Windows paging file - wipe information cache of virtual memory, which may be stored to the hard disk.
Easy to use as wizard program - just in few steps you can do all the job. Even newbie can work with this professional tool.
Removable storage (flash disks, any cards) supported - you can make deleted data unrecoverable on any removable storage like memory stick, USB flash disk e.t.c.
Makes unrecoverable temp files, cache - when you clear cache of your PC or delete temporary files (logs e.t.c.) you can be sure that Prevent Recovery will make them unrecoverable too.
Uses several security algorithms for maximum security (like Gutmann, DOD 5220.22) - you can select the most powerful algorithm from the world known to make anti-recovery process secure as possible.
Can empty Recycle Bin to avoid recovery of items in it - you can forget about it, but don't worry Prevent Recovery have an option to empty Recycle Bin for you. Some files there may be very confidentional.
Can shut down computer when done - if you have hard disk with hundreds Gigs free, Prevent Recovery can work for a hour or so. That's why we made an option to turn off your PC when done. Just keep doing your business, don't worry.
