QuickIM is VERY data bandwidth friendly! This is because as opposed to most other messengers (free or paid) that are proxy based, QuickIM uses direct socket method to connect to instant messaging servers, and doesn't need to poll the server for new information every few seconds, instead it sends/receives data only when there is truly a message to send/receive. The difference in GPRS data cost is HUGE!
QuickIM is available on almost all major phones, you can easily get a QuickIM for you and your family members to stay in touch even when you are traveling.
And unlike other mobile messenger software, QuickIM instant messenger is the only ProxyLess messenger providing the following unique features:
