It Manages Quote Downloading, Price & Volume Trend Analysis, Market Phase Identification, Buy & Sell RecommendationsOCZ even provides Forecast Report Cards on itself. Particular strengths are in stock Day-Trading selections. Has an Autopilot Mode that handles all quote processing, database updates and report generation in a single step. Provides a status list on key features accessed as well as not accessed for daily users, so day traders do not miss a step ensuring maximum visibility to all opportunities. Serious traders and those considering trading stocks for a living are encouraged to read the SmartBroker Pro Reference Guide to make full use of all the many features and capabilities, not found in other applications. SmartBroker Pro can track over 30,000 stocks, which is currently more than is reported. Users will need end-of-day quotes from a quote provider service. Many services provide quote files for free including EODData. Users can also subscribe to a flat-rate account such as Prophet Financial Systems, Inc. which provides the data file for ~ $19.95/month (unlimited access). Users can download quote files with any ftp capable browser (Netscape, AOL, Internet Explorer, etc...). Or, can also use practically any exported ASCII text quote file from other software packages (see list of data sources - SmartBroker Pro web-page).More Stocks Tracked = More Opportunities, however users can order SmartBroker Lite (1,000 stocks max for $29), or SmartBroker Standard (5,000 stocks max for $59) or SmartBroker Pro (ALL stocks; ALL features for $239) [one-time registration fee].
