By combining a simple interface that allows for complete customization with several automation tools, VisNetic AntiVirus Protection is able to provide steady, up-to-date, and tailored virus protection. Keeping up with the release of new viruses can be a daunting task. Hundreds of new viruses are released each year, all with varying degrees of severity and propagation. There is no regularity or schedule as to when a new virus is released in "the wild". By using the scheduled Virus Base Updater in VisNetic AntiVirus Protection, an administrator or user can have the program automatically query the main virus database and download updated virus definitions.
