Visual Sidekick 3 is a powerful Visual Studio / C++ addin designed to improve any C++ and C# developer's efficiency.
Visual Sidekick 3 offers a fast, up-to-date, searchable database of all project classes, symbols, files and project folders. Using a single sub-string filter query, Visual Sidekick will search all project files and symbols quickly and dynamically.
Some Visual Sidekick features include:
** Use Multiple IDEs - Integration into Visual Studio .NET 2005, 2003, 2002 and Visual C++ 5 and 6;

** Search Class Hierarchy - Browse and search the solution's classes in a hierarchy tree view;
** Search Standard Libraries - Browse, Navigate and Filter standard libraries, including Win32, MFC, ATL, STL, DirectX, etc;
** Flip Header/Source - Ctrl-Enter cycles between header and implementation files;
** Flip Method Declaration/Definition - Ctrl-Shift-Enter flips between method header and method body;
** Navigate Code - Position the IDE editor on any symbol quickly and effortlessly;
** Generate Code - Generate C++ method body stubs automatically from a class header specification;
** View Code Metrics - Report on the number of files, classes, symbols, lines of code, comments, etc;
** View Clipboard History - View and paste any of the last 15 clipboard copy operations;
** Drag and Drop Source Code - Browse and edit non-Visual Studio code bases using Visual Studio by dragging the files or folder from Explorer onto Visual Sidekick.
